Education

    • FLAME is presently running 182 Non-Formal Basic Education schools which are educating over 7,000 children, the majority of whom would not be attending school
    • Our drop out rate is nearly zero
    • FLAME schools complete five years primary level course in four years
    • Over 95 percent of FLAME students pass their annual examinations
    • FLAME is able to provide good quality education to approximately 40 children for a minimal cost of Rs. 27,000/year.

    Health

    • FLAME is providing basic health care including free medicines to approximately 5,000 children of its schools in Karachi and Islamabad through 2 mobile health units
    • According to a report filed by an independent doctor studying the health status of children at FLAME schools, it was found that there was a visible decrease in common ailments due to health guidance and delivery of proper medications through the MHU

Employment

    • FLAME provides employment to 182 educated women of poor localities as teachers, 7 educated men as field coordinators and 8 MBBS lady doctors to manage the school health program
